Ronald Keith "Ronnie" Lawson was born October 26, 1939 in Tyrone, Missouri to Vester and Jessie (Brown) Lawson. He departed this life June 5, 2024 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 84.

Ronnie graduated from high school and was drafted into the United States Army. He proudly served his country for two years. He worked for Ford Motor Company for two years. He was a farmer and enjoyed milking cows and raising pigs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vester and Jessie; brothers, Leon Lawson and Dale Lawson; sisters, Linda Oliver and Pam Wyrick.

Survivors include his sisters, Bonnie Darnell of Willow Springs, MO, Betty Hummel of Willow Springs, MO, Jimme Kates of San Diego, CA, and Pattie Simmons of Girard, KS; brother, Denver Lawson of Girard, KS; and many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie enjoyed playing cards and picking blackberries. He loved visiting with friends and family about the old days.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2024, at Yarber Mortuary in Willow Springs, Missouri, with Pastor David Lovan officiating. Inurnment will be in Nagle Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
