Russell Franklin Donaldson was born on February 8, 1957, in Newberry, South Carolina, to David and Shirley Donaldson. He departed this life on January 3, 2024, in Mountain View, Missouri, at the age of 66.

Russell proudly served in the United States Navy and went to school to become an electrician. He married Patricia Johns and raised five children.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Donaldson; father-in-law Ronald Seiders; brother, David Donaldson Jr.; and sister, Vikki Donaldson.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of the home; children, Robin Stokes of Iacanto, FL, Ronald Wolfe of Alton, MO, Charles Adams Jr. of Jonesboro, AR, Kristina Killion of Pomona, MO, and Laura Brackett of Mountain View, MO; mother, Shirley Donaldson; mother-in-law, Margaret Seiders; six beloved grandchildren; and three beloved great-grandchildren.

Russell will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Connie Adkerson officiating. Interment will be in Smyrna Cemetery, Alton, Missouri.  Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
