Obituary

Russell D. Keeney was born on January 13, 1951, and entered eternal rest on Friday, December 19, 2025. A proud United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, he lived his life with quiet strength, deep conviction, and an abiding love for the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Harry and Marie Keeney, who raised him and shaped the man he became; his daughter Grace Keeney; grandson Harrison Keeney; son-in-law, Allen Hamme; his stepson Tony Pringle; and other loved ones who went before him.

Russell is survived by his devoted wife, Tamela Keeney; his children, Demetria Hammer and partner, James, Chad Keeney and wife, Jessica, Chase Keeney and wife, Gina, Dakota Keeney, Phoenix Keeney and partner, Tyler, Ciera Keeney, and stepson, Jayson Pringle; along with his cherished grandchildren.

A man of faith, service, and reflection, he believed deeply in God and lived guided by that belief. He loved all of his children to the very best of his ability and carried that love with him always.

"To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven."

- Ecclesiastes 3:1

Russell's earthly season has now come to rest. Having finished his journey, he has returned to peace-made whole, restored, and welcomed home into God's eternal presence.
