Rusty Lamar Prewett, age 52, passed away on December 10, 2021, at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri. He was born in Mountain View, Missouri, to Jerry Lynn and Joyce Lucille (Holloway) Prewett on December 10, 1969.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Prewett, and son, Brett Prewett.

Rusty is survived by his mother, Joyce Prewett; one son, Aaron Prewett (Raquel); four daughters, Tiffany Prewett (Dustin), Kali Prewett (Eric), Katrina Prewett, and Lindsay Prewett; four brothers, Raymond Prewett (Carol), Randy Prewett, Ricky Prewett (Bev), and Toby Prewett; one sister, Pam Dixon (Rob); and ten grandchildren, Aiyden, Kelbie, Deegan, Dawson, Alaynah, Easton, Braelynn, Brixtan, Payton, and Alisa.

He loved to fish, hunt, read, and listen to music. Rusty had a huge heart and loved his family dearly. He had many titles in his life, son, brother, uncle, friend, etc., but his favorites were Dad, Pepaw, and Grandpa. He loved his children and grandchildren more than anything in this world.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Pastor Jeff Brake officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
