Ryan Dale Lee, 33, of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away on September 29, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1993, in Houston, Missouri, to the late Rhonda Lynn (Cunningham) Lee and Ronald “Dale” Lee. Some knew him as “Cryin’ Ryan” or “RyRy,” while many simply knew him as “Catfish.”

Ryan made his home in Mountain View with the love of his life, Kimberly Totten. He was the proud father of his daughter, Rilynn Grace Bettis, whom he loved deeply. He also loved and cared for his three stepchildren, Noah, Hunter, and Colton.

He is survived by his sister, Amber Lee (Scott Pettyjohn); his half-siblings, Chase Cunningham (Kali Craigmyle), Brooklyn Lee, Blade Lee, and Cassie Lee; his stepsister, Leigh Ann; his daughter, Rilynn Grace Bettis; his stepchildren, Noah, Hunter, and Colton; his partner, Kimberly Totten; his uncles, Rocky Cunningham, Chip Cunningham, and Dewayne Lee; his aunts, Kelly Cunningham-Rhoades (William), Melissa McElhaney, Melinda Leonard (Andy), and Denise Marshall (Mark); along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved him.

Ryan was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for the people he loved. He worked for approximately nine years at Upland Timber in Mountain View, Missouri, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Outside of work, Ryan loved hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, and being with his family. Some of his happiest times were when everyone came together and when he was able to spend time with his daughter. Ryan could be stubborn, but those who knew him knew he was truly one of a kind. He had a big heart, would do anything he could for someone in need, and was never one to judge a person by their circumstances.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rhonda and Ronald “Dale” Lee; his grandparents, Joe Cunningham, Delores Cunningham Mercer, Eunice Boyer, Donna Lee, and Dennis Lee; his uncles, Ronald Cunningham and Dean Lee; his aunt, Nita "Diane" Williams, and his niece, Mattea Pettyjohn.

Ryan’s life was far too short, but the love he had for his family and the memories he created with them will continue to live on. His daughter, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends will forever remember his big heart, his one-of-a-kind personality, and the life he shared with them. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
