Sandra "Gerrie" Geraldine (Laws) Brown, was born on March 4, 1938, to Thurman and Effie (Hardin) Laws, in the township of Qulin, Missouri, within Butler County, and went to her heavenly home on May 6, 2022, at the age of 84. On August 15, 2007, Gerrie married Wilfred "Gerry" Brown, and married into a large loving family, where she was known as "GIGI".

Gerrie was blessed with three daughters, Kathryn Cozad (Richard), Rhonda Heyns (Doug), and Cheryl Myers (Dick); five grandchildren, Shannon, Jon, Michael, Kristina, and Ryan.  Gerrie was the loving Nonie and Grandma to a passel of great-grandchildren.

She was an accomplished artist and author of children's stories, and she also enjoyed painting, metalwork, weaving, and gardening.  Gerrie was a teacher to all who wanted to learn what she had to offer. She loved deep and strong her whole family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
