Scott Daniel McCarty, age 55, passed away on October 16, 2024, at Ozarks Healthcare, West Plains, Missouri. He was born on August 1, 1969, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Jim and Linda Gay (McComas) McCarty.

Scott was married to Audrey P. Cooper-Upchurch in 2018 in Birch Tree, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Linda McCarty.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey P. McCarty; children, Ashley, Brett, Seth, Kayley, and Morgan; siblings, Galion McCarty and Tammy Tinsley; and grandchildren, Camilla, Tucker, Rilee, Zoey, Braxton, Cory, Molly, and Toby.

Scott liked to fish and loved to go camping whenever he could. He was loved by his wife, Audrey and he will be missed dearly.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Oak Forest Cemetery under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Birch Tree, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
