Sherry Lynn West was born in Jerseyville, Illinois on March 15, 1976, to Donald and Emma Sue (DeWitt) West. She departed this life on March 21, 2021, at her home in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 45.

Sherry is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul DeWitt and Rose Viola DeWitt; paternal grandparents, Donald Lee West and Edna Mae West; one son, Adam William Garrison; and one sister, Carla Sue West Johnson.

She is survived by her father Donald William West and mother, Emma Sue DeWitt; children Tiffany, Ashley, and Cody; sisters Michelle West Lance and Billie Sue West; significant other, Hubert Risner Jr.; her niece, Brittany Johnson; nephews, Gary W Johnson Jr, Joshua Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Michael Snyder, and Tyler Snyder; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Sherry was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She always had a smile and an infectious laugh that could be heard from across the room. Even through recent health issues, she still tried to maintain a positive spirit. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 26, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri with Pastor Jeremiah Nichols officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com .
