Thelma Sharlene Bunch, daughter of Robert Clifton Rackley and Iris Wilma (Green) Rackley, was born July 30, 1943. She entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2025, at the age of 82 years.

On February 23, 1960, Sharlene married Charles Jimmy Bunch. Together, they worked for over 30 years with Farmers Insurance Group and Bunch Real Estate.

Sharlene taught herself to play the guitar. She enjoyed playing and singing with Jim in their bluegrass band, Briar Patch. They performed at Silver Dollar City, HOBA Bluegrass events, and numerous local events.

Sharlene is survived by her daughter, Gloria Bunch; 2 grandchildren, Nakita Walser and husband, Kyle, Joshua Perkins and wife, Bridget; 6 great-grandchildren, Jasper and Amelia Walser, Violet, Willow, Maisie, and Esther Perkins; and 1 sister, Many Ann Baker and husband, Jesse; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Sharlene is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Bunch; parents, Clifton and Iris Rackley; and siblings, Roberta Oaks, Robert Rackley, Aleene Reed, and John Rackley.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Willow Springs City Cemetery, Willow Springs, Missouri, with Pastor Scott Williamson officiating.
