Veva Dorene Rush, born January 24, 1940, left this earth and stepped into the arms of her Lord and Savior, on June 25, 2023, at her home.

Dorene was united in marriage to her husband, Eddie Rush, on September 25, 1958. To this union, five children were born.

Preceding her in death are her son, Eddie Jr. Rush, and an Angel great-grandbaby.

Dorene is survived by her husband, Eddie Rush, of 64 years; four children, Brenda Tyson (Joe), Sherri Davis (Rod), Marie Crider (Jeff), and Keith Rush (Kaylene); fur baby, Toots; grandchildren, Kimberly Leitch (Matt), Todd Tyson, Cody Tyson (Heather), Tiffany Tyson, Kevin Davis (Ashley), Audrey Berry (Josh), Whitney Cooper (Nick), Brandon Crider (Cara), Carter Rush, Jordan Homan, Brayden Homan, and Macy Rush; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Dorene's passion in life was her family. She was very proud of her husband and children, as she said it often. She had many job titles in life, but her most prized job was taking care of her family.

Dorene was an adventurer. She loved bottle hunting, antiquing, reading, history, and was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church in Birch Tree, Missouri.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. A hole is left that will never be filled.

A family-guided Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. at Pioneer Baptist Church, Birch Tree, Missouri, with Bro. Robert Gifford officiating.
