William C. Bender was born on November 4, 1967, to Donald N. Bender and Carol Rita Treubert.  He passed away on October 27, 2022, at his home in Winona, Missouri, at 54 years of age.

He was born in Hackensack, New Jersey and completed high school at J. F. Kennedy High School.

William is preceded in death by his mother, Carol and her husband, Albert Calvert, and one niece, Kristin Stockwell.

Survivors include his father, Donald; sisters, Rita (Richard) Campoli, Elaine (Bill) Wake, and Janice Bender; three nephews, Jason (Erica) Stockwell, Justin (Donna) Stockwell, and Justo Pena Jr; great-nephews, Jayden, Mason, and Justin Jr.; great-nieces, Madisyn and Gianna.

William was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church with Father Joseph Stoverink officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service also at the church. Interment will be in St. John Vianney Catholic Cemetery, Mountain View.
