Ernest Eugene Foster was born on April 20, 1930, in Mountain View, Missouri, to William Ernest and Minnie Alice (Happy) Foster. He peacefully returned to his heavenly home on October 30, 2021, at the age of 91.

He was united in marriage to Dorothy Sue Willoughby. To this union four sons were born, Wayne, Bruce, Kevin, and Gaylon.

Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Foster, his parents, William and Minnie Foster; one son, Wayne Foster; three brothers, Leslie, George, and Carlos; and two sisters, Mattie and Cleta.

He is survived by his three sons, Bruce Foster, Kevin Foster (Michelle), and Gaylon Foster (Carla); nine grandchildren, Andy, Chance, Chase, Cheyenne, Chandler, Cassie, Wayne, Chad, and Cole; many great-grandchildren that meant the world to him; and many special nieces and nephews.

Ernest proudly served in the Navy for four years, was a successful business owner, and farmer. He loved taking care of his family, and always had a good story to tell. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Robert Medley officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
